This Was The END of Day 4 ,,,, we decided to walk up the hill to Pandanas for Dinner

We walked up the not tooo steep hills past a Very interesting Tree house to the Pandanas Restaurant for Dinner ,,,,,, a Nice walk in the Failing light ,,,,,,, We were going to ride but had second throghts about the ride home in total darkness ,,,,,,,,, In the end there was a heavy downpour during and after dinner so getting a lift home from the so called complementary restaurant vehicle was good thing .
The Restaurant Charged for the Complementary lift home ,,,, Not Good PR ,,, The Food was OK .

Here we were on Day 3 ,,, A lazy start and down to a pre booked boat trip ,,, We waited an hours before it was ready to go

We all boarded easily up a front ramp right on the beach .... Not to crowded but not empty either .
We headed towards the North
A Few nice travellers boats moored along the way to North Bay Santuary Zone

We went over to the North Bay Santuary Zone and Landed at the end of North Beach

We walked through the bush to some service huts and the Guide made us a nice cup of tea and cake while telling us a little of the areas history
After tea we walked further into the bush until we came to the sea again at the OLD GULCH ,, an interesting place ,,,,,,,, Great location for a scene from a movie .

Lots of Coral rocks to stumble over

After a good look around we walked back down the track to where the boat was moored ,,,, Ros went off on a walk on her own up the hill while monique and I headed off down the beach following the guide .

We Walked a few hundred meters down the Beach ,,,,,,, and BIRDS BIRDS BIRDS BIRDS BIRDS

THIS ONE IS A PINK HEADED BOOBIE

Then for a Bit more Snorkeling ,,, A Bit of a cool wind today ,,, I stayed in the Boat

We Left the Beach and went to a spot to do a bit of Snorkeling


Then on the way back a spot of Turtle and Stingray spotting through the Glass Bottom
Yes It a Stingray

After being out on the Boat , Snorkeling , walking , birdwatching etc etc ,,, We felt a little afternoon tea would be in Order

On the Bikes again after glass bottom boating , snorkeling ,beach , walking , and bird watching

We remembered about the Blackboard for afternoon tea on the road to The Old Settlement Beach ,,, It was at Arajilla ,,, That for ages I thought was Rajilla ,,,, by just looking at its sign ,,, Confusing for a Dyslectic cameraman .
I rode ahead and checked it out
Nice spot for a relax
So we settled in for afternoon tea , Just in time for a huge downpour ,,,,, very Tropical ,,,, great to be undercover and not on the bike home ,

The Sudden Downpour was over along with afternoon tea.The Girls cycled back to the Unit While I went to check out 'Beach House on The Moon Restaurant'

They were at the end of the road at the entrance to Old Settlement Beach and I couldnt find anyone at the reception /Restaurant ,,,,,, Then through a screen door I had an unsatisfactory conversation with a very Large gent in a very large lounge chair ,,,,,,, He was to lazy or not able to get out of his resting position to give me more info on the Restaurant or the rooms ,,,,,,,,,, Pass .

After the riding down to check out 'The Milky Way Villars ' and 'Beach House on the Moon Restaurant' I cycled back through the Village centre

On my Ride back to the Unit I came across the Village Notice Board opposite Humpty Micks ,,, Here are a few interesting Notices And a Road Map ...

Wanted to do the Kayak THING

but didnt get to do it ,,,, Next Time .

Looks good for a serious bit of deep sea fishing ,,,, Wanted to do it but not by myself ,,, Next Time

An alternative place to stay ,,,,,,, Interesting

This Was supposed to be the best Seafood feed on the Island ,,, Thursday and Saturday Night at the Bowling Club ,,,,,,, We were looking forward to it .

Then end of day 2

We went down to a Slide show and talk by a local guy ,, Very interesting and on the way to Humpty Micks for an early dinner ,,, or was it slide show ,,, a shower ,,, cold beer ,,, then down to Humpty Micks ,,,,,,,, They actually had very cold bottle beer there as well .

After Lunch we rode down to the start of the Mutton Bird Point Track .

This walk was recomended as a easy walk for an average FIT person ,,,, and it was .

The Girls were sprinting ahead and I was walking slowly to take it all in ,,, Missing any wildlife scared off by the Front runners

WE Got to the Point Lookout in quicktime ,,,,,,,,,,,,, A few minutes and they were off again on the return trip ,,,,,,,,

,,,,,,,,, Back to the unit for a cold drink and a snack
